Puglia Innovation Center for Safety and Security
The Puglia Innovation Center for Safety and Security (PICS2) aims to support public bodies and small and medium-sized enterprises operating primarily in Industrial Development Areas and Special Economic Zones by instilling culture and awareness to facilitate and accelerate the digital and green transition process and enhance its impact on their workforce.
PICS2 focuses on the themes of intelligent integration of data and services, safety (health and well-being of people, environmental protection, prevention and protection from natural disasters) and security (protection of industrial, logistics, customs and energy infrastructures, both physical and digital).
Close collaboration will be established with other national and European EDIHs to explore synergies and management options for the digital transition.
